American Water Infrastructure Act of 2018:
Section 2013 of America’s Water Infrastructure Act of 2018 (AWIA) requires community water systems that serve more than 3,300 people to complete an all-hazard risk and resilience assessment and develop an emergency response plan. We perform risk and resilience assessments that evaluate the vulnerabilities, threats, and consequences of potential hazards, including natural and malevolent acts and cybersecurity. We have extensive experience evaluating water system risk, performing risk and resilience assessments and developing system emergency plans in compliance with the AWIA.
North American Electric Reliability:
We understand and have extensive experience with the requirements of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and how to implement these requirements into the security and resiliency planning for electric utilities. Our 300+ risk assessments have met and exceeded the standards established by NERC and WECC. We perform all hazard assessments, including natural and malevolent acts and cybersecurity. Our team assures the effective and efficient reduction of risks to the reliability and security of the nation’s power grid.
Security Design:
A physical protection system integrates people, procedures, and equipment for the protection of assets or facilities against theft, sabotage, or other hostile human attacks. Our approach is designed to capture and apply the inputs and outputs of the physical security assessment or physical security risk assessment and develop risk-based designs for modern integrated systems.
We have extensive experience supporting projects for physical and electronic security system evaluation and design. This experience includes assessing, designing, estimating cost, and managing complex projects dealing with security cameras, access control systems, video surveillance and archiving systems, badging and credentialing systems, communications and response systems, and security infrastructure such as fencing and barriers, fiber optic cable systems, electronic asset protection systems, and operations centers. Our experience also includes managing the full lifecycle of project and cost development and construction including procurement, installation and commissioning of systems.
